On Thursday, 21 December at 8pm, the Shropshire Boatmen will be at the Navvy singing a mix of sea shanties and canal songs. And to get you into the festive mood there will be a few seasonal songs too.

For those of you who don’t know, the Shropshire Boatmen visit us each month – on the first Thursday at 7.30 pm. As well as singing sea shanties they also sing songs about the inland waterways, with many of their canal songs being written by them about the local area. The Navvy and Maesbury Marsh even get a mention.
